My dad's in the hospital.
I am still having trouble with this concept. I am about 1,000 miles away and my dad is in the hospital. Thankfully it's nothing horribly wrong. He was just have issues with his heart beating to fast because one of the ventricals wasn't working properly. But it's just scary cause it makes me realize that he isn't invinsible. He's a normal human being and one day he is going to die. It's funny...I have no problem with facing my own death but the thought of my parents dying is just comepletely beyond me. I don't have a clue what I would do. My world would probably crumble...ugh...I can't think about this anymore or I am going to start crying and never stop.
So he's gonna be alright. They are doing a whole bunch of tests to see what caused the episode and hopefully they will be able to prevent it from happening in the future.
It gets me to realizing how important it is to be healthy and stay healthy. I've been babbling about getting in shape and eating healthier for quite some time now and I have finally realized that I need to stop talking about it and do it. It doesn't matter that my back hurts still from the stupid bulge in my disc. I need to stop making dumb, lazy excuses and get to it. Starting today.
I think I am gonna go and knit some and try and clear my mind for a while. I hope everyone is having a good weekend. Take care of yourself and your loved ones.
