It rained today. I don't think it's really suppose to rain in the middle of November in Vermont. It's supposed to snow and snow lots. It's only actually snowed up here maybe three times and none of it stuck to the ground. I think it's really strange but maybe it's just Mother Nature's way of making up for the fact that last winter was a bitch and a half. Not that I want it to snow might you cause then it will take me twice as long to walk to work, but it just seems like it should have snowed a significant amount by now.
I have decided I hate this time of year. Everything is going to sleep for the winter and I don't get to. I am constantly tired even though I am way less active than I am in warmer months. It's always freaking dark and that really just makes me sad. I am thinking maybe I have that seasonal depression thign they are always talking about. Maybe I will get one of those high intensity light bulbs to sit under and feel like a plant soaking up the sun. I can't wait for December 21st when everything starts moving back in the brighter direction and I gain light instead of lossing it more and move each day.
One of my coworkers is driving me crazy...and of course she is the person who is supposedly training me. Though she really just says she is going to train me and then never does. Which means I end up asking the same questions to people over and over again and never having them actually answered. You would think that they would want to train me so I could help them out in every way possible considering that we are moving into mass hysteria month aka Holiday shopping. I am so glad I am done with my shopping by the way...all I have to do now is Christmas cards and wrap the presents if I can ever get them up here from Ohio.
1) Did you spend any money today and on what?
A: I bought a Leonardo de Veggie bagel and a juice for lunch.
2) what was the high point in your day?
A: leaving work and listening to my new CD
3) What was the neighborhood you grew up in like?
A: there were lots of kids my age or older and we would all get together and play Kick the Can or Ghost in the Graveyard in the warmer months and we'd go sledding in the cold ones. It was nice cause you had ready made friends all around and you never had to be bored.
4) Do you own a weapon?
A: I have a hunting knife but that's it. I doubt I will ever own a gun unless I get attacked at some point in my life and feel I need it to feel safe, but I honestly don't feel comfortable around them so I really wouldn't want one near me all the time. Thankfully I live in an area that isn't really known for high crime rates so I shouldn't have to worry too much about getting mugged too terribly much. Though I am hypervigilant girl when it comes to walking around by myself at night.
5) Do you think love exists?
