Working the in the restaurant industry in the US, I've been thinking a lot about this lately. Why do some people get so angry with strangers? I honestly don't understand how someone you don't be know can illicit such strong feelings from a person. Especially from a person who is usually just doing their (fairly underpaid) job.

@pointman11 I live in Iowa so luckily (sorta) things never really shut down all the way and while we basically all got sick, hardly any businesses closed down permanently at all! We also don't technically have any Covid restrictions at all but our restaurant still enforces the 6 foot rule most of the time, and people FREAAAAK OUT over it. Like, we just want a tiny bit of safety while y'all get drunk and eat steaks, is that so much to ask?

Hang in there. It does get better, sometimes are rogue waves that knock you sideways, but stay the full course of treatment and it does get better. I know, I’m a lifer.
