As for your toilet though, that thing still makes me die laughing every time i see it! Totally ridiculous! But man... its gotten FREEZING cold over here this last week! Its terrible! Some day when i retire, i will most definitely need to live on a tropical island where it NEVER gets cold!! Or just borrow your electric toilet seat to keep me warm. 
New Years was pretty uneventful for me though. I was sick with the flu so i just stayed home and wished i could breathe.

As for me, I live in the Southern California desert near Palm Springs. But yes, it gets a little cold at night. But during the day its still sunny and warm.
