I'm excited for this weekend. I'll be running around as an angel of death--basically, really gothed out with black wings and a black halo.
I finally made an eye appointment for next week. I am dreading it, I know the new dr is gonna bitch me out for having these disposable contacts for a year. My eyes have been getting really irritated lately. I don't want to end up with a horrible infection and possibly not be able to wear contacts again. My friend, who used to work at eye clinic, freaked me out last week with stories of what can happen. But my current glasses are slightly too weak for my eyes, so wearing them for long periods of time or to work sucks. I plan on getting new glasses as well. There goes my paycheck.
I'm on a jewelry making kick. I figure, I can always give it away for xmas gifts.
One of my friends invited me to come with him when he gets tattooed next Monday. Which means that there is a strong possibility that I'll end up with a new piercing. Me in a shop, leaving without getting anything, is rare. Although the aforementioned eye stuff may render me broke for awhile.
The rook piercing has returned. After having it out for 4 days, it was mostly looking normal again so I decided to try to put a larger diameter ring in. It worked. It took a bit of coaxing but went in pretty easily. That was two days ago. It feels and looks really good now. I am trying not to touch it except to clean it and to baby it a lot.
I really really hope I don't have to work on Thanksgiving.
I ate a burger tonight--a turkey burger. I'm still having issues with red meat after last week's unfortunate incident. I told Dustin I was gonna become a vegetarian and get my protein from cheese. He said I'd die from fat and cholestorol. Um, isn't there lots of both in red meat too? I've been living off of pumpkin or cinnamon muffins and cheese quesadillas. Yummy.

I always hated working on thanksgiving. It's amazing how many people shop that day. WTF? Go home and eat turkey, people!
