New poem guys! woop woop!
~Thistle Blooms
The thistle blooms they sing my doom
As I walk down this empty street,
My eyes are dry yet still I cry
And long for things less discreet,
Animal eyes that burn so bright
They peer into my soul,
Your soft touch is my delight
My heart a burning coal,
This distance makes the being ache
But time will bring us closer,
My mind is now awake
And I can retain composure,
The tigers eyes and fireflies
They dance around the night!
The moon shines blue to keep the heart true
And love is worth the fight,
So I took a walk on Saturns rings
To let love open the door,
And listen to the lilies sing
Cradled in a milky shore.
