Not so bad in my place as I have a massive AC unit,however I do have a huge bank of 11 ft. windows with dead-on western exposure...not bad early in the day when everything is cool, but in the afternoon when everything is already...

more specifically; A snapped cylinder head bolt!..Ducati's were known to have problem with the steel not being elastic enough in the stock bolts on many of the 1994 900 engines.
The bike has 25000 mi. so I am guessing that I have been fortunate they lasted this long, but i sure wish this would have happened to one of the previous...

as i mentioned earlier, my mood has slightly improved today. partly by faking it at work, partly b/c i got through a day w/out a catastrophe befalling my friend's dog, partly b/c i got my husband 2 little things to give him on the day of his birthday, and i have a really good idea for his "real" present, but it won't be complete for a few weeks.
oh, i also got the new Harry Potter.
i'll start reading that after i f inish the 2 books i'm reading now and slog through a couple more books of poetry.
but i'm such a book-o-phile, that it's comforting just to have to book in my presence - it has such a calming effect on me just to hold a book i love or am looking forward to reading - just to flip through it and smell the pages. . .
is that wrong?
