I slept all day today after a really long day in manhattan running on 2 hours of sleep. The good news is we were able to almost completely finish an installation in one day. Now I get to take a little break, well.. it's more like I have to take a break or I'll go nuts. I have been feeling burnt out lately and just tired of life. Been doing way too much thinking and believe me, my head can be a scary place.

Rant of they day: I hate the fact that you can't park anywhere in manhattan without paying a fortune for it. There were ten cars parked in a no parking zone and none of them were ticketed, so I went ahead and parked there. I come back at 5:30 and I'm the only one with a fucking ticket! Must have been due to the fact that I'm from out of state.. I would have been better off paying $40 to park in a garage!

I'm back at home now and there is still a ton of work to do here. I have 3 weeks worth of laundry to do and about the same amount of dishes.. I'm not a slob, I'm just never here long enough to really keep up with things. I probably won't do it tonight either because I really need to hear some live music, it's been too long since I've been to a show. If there is nothing good in Philly, I think I may call up a few friends and jam for a while. All we need is a drummer and we'd have a band. Of course none of us realy has time to practice much... I play my guitar maybe an hour or so a night, which is nowhere near enough. That needs to change! I started writing some music a few weeks ago and haven't done much with it since, so maybe I should do that tonight. I don't think I could sing to save my life, but I've been told I write pretty good stuff.

Well, I'm off to get some food and make phone calls.
