Thanks to everyone for the birthday love.
I celebrated by going to Galaxyland and dressing in matching outfits with my roommate. We went on rides until I could barely walk and there was nothing to do but inhale cotton candy.
The most memorable part of the evening out was not becoming good friends with a beautiul post-op transgered gal, or the boy who asked me if I knew how to jive (in the David/Angie Bowie sense of the phrase), but when I pulled a Patsy and fell right off my shoes. Now, these were platforms, but I have not yet fallen off them. I rolled an ankle, scraped my leg and lost some dignity. Also shouted at my roommate to continue on without me, as if we were in some manner of WW2 buddy movie. I MUST be getting older; I drank about the same last year (oh, memories... SG burlesque, ha), but was not nearly as sore the next day. Just wait till I get cats; then it shall be a slippery slope!
Otherwise, life continues much the same. I'm worried about my Mum, but I will be seeing her within a month in Victoria. The museum is going well; this weekend, the interps are dressing 1950s - yay! I made them all sexy - or tried to. At least we have one greaser.
Speaking of which, I am adding some photos from the museum. Some are mooshy, cause I edited them myself. Le-voici!
This is me on a bike, obviously. I got to ride one, and now I'm hooked. Unfortunately, am too poor for said bike (or a 1947 Indian Chief), so I am currently taking applications for a hot biker boyfriend.
More msueum stuff. This was some of the "flash" I made that were turned into stencils for airbrush tattoos. I used smelly markers and some matboard.
Finally, here is some garbage. THis was where we were spraying th paint until it changed colours in the airbrush... Anyhow. I thought it was great, and took a photo.
Am still attempting to check this more often. I do lurve you guys!
Have a faboo week.

Glad your liking the museum, I've been wanting to make it out that way, only I've been too hurt most of the summer. My whole family went without me.. anyway wanted to say "hi" and "i'm back on site again".
