OK, so I'm not really as quiet IRL, but I do tend to keep rather f'ing busy in general. oddly enough, i tend to spend most of my time either at work or recovering from work...
We're getting our new kitties in a couple of days!!! Can't wait. We'll see how my "old man cat" does with this change. He's been the only cat in my life for 9 incredulous years (he was about 5 when i adopted him). I think this month or last month is/was our official anniversary month. The iguana will probly not be too overwhelmed with the new additions to the family, though it might get him a bit spooked at first...
I'm all packed for my first "real" business trip to Indianapolis, I leave on Monday ( yes, just hours after the new kitties are home). I may need to be dragged off to the airport, due to overwhelming cuteness in the domicile. Anyway, should be a fun trip with my spouse meeting me out there at the end of the week and whisking me off for a romantic weekend. I know what you're thinking, but Don't worry, we have a great pet-sitter: grandpa!!! He doesn't have cable, so we inticed him with our dish!
Went to the Wine Tasting in the Silver City with some pals last night. Spent almost $200 on re-stocking our reserve, but had a fantastic time. Finished off the evening with a stroll/stagger to the 50's diner that used to be owned by a drug addict and now is in the hands of a really sweet guy who really takes pride in his work. He also likes to chat. A lot. As in we left to find that the carnival rides were completely shut off and there were only two cars left on butler street: ours! But I give this man mad props for keeping something in town open past 2pm; or even 6pm downtown! Very spiffy place if you're into that type of thing. Or if you've been missing out on your regular fill of surrealism.
Anyway, have to double check that I have all my essentials packed for the trip and go get some kitten stuffs. I'll drop a note when I get back and let everyone know what I think of Indianapolis.

This should appease any random weirdo inquiring on the status of the pitter-patter of little feet in your home... Sounds like the business will be a hoot! I've yet to go to any for my sgency other then packing the gang into the car to go apple picking... Then again, that wasn't too bad of a trip either. Hope your hand is doing better, old friend!
