So I have officially relocated to Moscow, Idaho. It seems I can't get away from college towns.
But!! I am gainfully employed, so satisfied for the time being. Good pay, good benefits, and decent hours. Plus! I am training to be the head honcho in six months or so when the current store manager leaves. Yeah, its retail, but its so much better than being stuck behind a desk all day talking to people about health insurance.
I had my Christmas on Friday; my parents are in Schweitzer for the holiday snow-boarding. I was unable to go. It's ok though, because I got a Pentax K1000 manual camera for Christmas complete with flash, light meter, three lenses, filters, and a nifty book for beginner photographers. I am so excited!! I used to have one of these when I was 18, but I was "borrowing" it from my aunt and now that my cousin is in high school and taking photography, I had to give it back. My mother says she eBayed for it for about a month before she won an auction. Overall, I'm glad she got this one because it actually has the original manual which is extremely rare. That's awesome!!!
My new place is incredible, too. I am so glad I was able to get a HOUSE rather than an apartment. It's by the junior high complete with garage, dishwasher, washer/dryer, hardwood floors, and tons of room. I am completely stoked about how fortunate I am. I love it. My only worry now is finding furniture to fill it.
I have no plans for the actual Christmas holiday. I plan to spend most of it drinking beer and playing Guitar Hero (or WoW.) I do, however, need to make a cameo at my grandmother's house in Lewiston...but she goes to bed so early, I'll have plenty of time.
What are you doing?
