Hey ya'll. I had a nice long busy week/weekend and have got myself up to a few shenanigans. My favorite pen, from McGuire's Irish Pub in Destin, that's served me well the last few years ran out of ink while I was sketching this guy, so it's only half done, I touched it up a bit with my other pen and placed my mark on it but couldn't finish it as it's literally just not the same. I think I may hunt down new ink cause I'm funny like that. I used to sketch dragons quite a bit but haven't done anything in awhile, I also felt somewhat inspired to share my skillz seeing everyone else's awesome kewl stuff this weekend! = )
I participated in my final big exercise here in the Republic of Korea and am once step closer to some time home and my next base in Japan! So I'm super jazzed about that and the feeling continues to grow as that day gets closer and closer. You have no idea how much chaos one piece of paper can cause until you don't have it and discover you've just wasted waiting around to be helped for an hour just to chase something new down and get back in line ><. This just about always happens to some degree though I've kept it to a happy minimum this go around, so far anyway. The exercise itself killed any chances of furthering my out processing last week but it's a new fresh week here in the future land across the Pacific = P Though the lag is a real drag when I have to contact people back in the US who are still out for the weekend. All in all, the exercise went really good, we rocked a few big events that included multiple groups and ended up all over the base paper. Since pretty much all of us where in one photo buying pizza for the shift wasn't too bad.

The worst part of the whole exercise, someone swiped my endex celebration cinnamon rolls out of my shifts fridge and replaced them with zebra cakes...I was less than pleased and actually pretty mad. It takes a lot to actually piss me off, this was probably a 7, bottom line someone messed with my stuff took my food and didn't have the balls to admit it or fairly compensate me. I knew it was the other shift and none of them owned up to it or even acknowledged that it happened. It smelled too good in the station when we changed shifts and it's impossible to miss someone baking cinnamon rolls during an exercise as we're all pretty much in one big area chilling and waiting for bad stuff to happen. I'm not the kind of guy you want to get into pranks with and since they want to play. It's game on. Last shift I swiped all the free floating food, condiments and items in their fridge and freezer and replaced them with a pile of zebra cakes. I was tempted to throw it all away since I got jack from them but I'm not a complete ass so I just double bagged it in grocery bags and hid it in the other fridges. I got the reaction I was looking for, I have my doubts that they actually found their food cause, well they're not the sharpest tools in the shed. So I'll find out if I just started a shift war tomorrow.
In the meantime, lots of really awesome sets came out and hit MR this weekend. So I'll be a good follower and put in links! It was also my little bro's 27th birthday and I had a nice long skype chat with him today, which was epic! It ended up derailing into talk about Dragons Dogma now that he's beat it and started playing his second play through and modern family cause he did a voice and it totally reminded me of Phil Dumphey, my favorite character. Probably cause he reminds me of my odd ball bro. Anyway, on to the sets! Appearing in completely random order = )

That about does it. It was a great weekend for reading blogs and watching some awesome vlogs! I've also had two folks I chat with suggest I give it a go myself. So I think I will. Slap any questions/suggestions ya got for what I should talk about below and I'll aim for doing it next week sometime. I'll also leave off with a few more of my photos from when I visited the folks in Missouri a few years back, enjoy!
I took these with mostly my big lens at a conservatory during not hunting season so the deer where pretty chill cause they knew they where safe. The big bucks still stayed pretty aloof and the only ones I saw where waaaay back in the sticks, the hid so good I can't find the pictures lol. So that'll do it for today = )
