Man-o-man-o-schiewitz
so things turned up a little. work is still 100% madness, but I'm getting used to it.
An old friend came into town and I was able to get him addicted to homestarrunner, amplitude, and offer him a place to crash. I'm a wonderful friend, aren't I? But it was cool, we did a couple dinners around my work schedule and caught up on each other's lives. This cat is a dear friend of mine and I just know he's going to be ultra successful at whatever he does, mostly because he's a workaholic, and improves whatever he works on. I'm keeping in touch with him partly because I love the guy like a brother, and partly because I want him to remember me when he's rich and powerful and I'm still poor and unfortunate. I know, ulterior motives, etc.
I talked to another old friend over the phone for the first time in 6 months (he's in China) and I think he's having a rough go of it, but at least he doesn't have SARS. It'll be wonderful when he's back in the country - he's one of two people I know in existence who not only get my sick sense of humor, but they feed off it and make things cooler. The other is Meph.
with any luck, I'll get a work bonus soon. ooh I hope I hope I hope...
Well as much as I'm trying to get outta the Midwest, you can't take the Midwest outta me - baseball season has me excited again - this may be the year - I'm not saying the Cubs are series bound, but this may be the year they don't suck!
Had the weirdest fucking dream - me and Meph, and a face from the past, destruction, grief, alcohol, cuddling. Fuckin' strange.

i've had a cough for the last week and everyone i talk to immediately makes a SARS joke, even my mom. Sensationalism cracks me up.
the good thing about being from NJ is that youget to like baseball teamsthat win stuff. GO YANKEES!!!
but if you get out here, you'll get the much needed skin shed you seek.
plus, we can probably get thursday to come and visit, and I miss her...
