I don't know if it is monsoon season anywhere right now, but the Peruvian jungle sounds like an amazing place to travel. My gf is going to India this summer to intensively study Bharata Natyam dance (she's been doing it for over 16 years), and I know that it will be close to monsoon season for her then, but I don't know how much she is looking forward to all the rain. LOL.
And your dream job sounds wonderful. Where in the wilderness do you want to be? Do you have any particular place in mind? And why are you waiting 1-2 years? (Sorry for the slew of questions, sometimes I get carried away
