i have my cello situation figured out.
and also: blisters. glorious, glorious blisters
I am picking it back up faster than I ever thought I would. And I realised while trying out different cellos... My previous cello was really holding me back. Seeing as i chose it while I was still quite a beginner, I was attracted to it because it was forgiving... But that also meant it wasn't very responsive. Blah blah, I could go on and on... I actually think my technique is better after not having played it in so long.. Something to do with not having the muscles that I was using to overcompensate for certain things.. ha, funny how that works.
Brahms' Cello Sonata no. 1 =
Still need to choose the right strings for it and things like that, but I'm really happy with it. See, I'm doing a rent-to-own thing because I didn't want to commit to anything until I had my skills back. But I may end up sticking with it. I got a great deal on it too. yay
In other news... Narrowly averted an electrical fire
Strange wiring...
Last week inadvertently kept getting allergen.. it was bad enough to cause some arrythmia. Scary And asthma, of course, but thankfully that's never too bad. I wish I was normal.
"God" (the homeless lady at pioneer courthouse square) hasn't been around
That's it, I guess. How are you?
PS thanks again to everyone who commented on my art And special thanks to loyus for conjuring up my new profile picture
ADDENDUM:
oh god I ache. 1 year of not playing + 5 hours of playing in one day = 1 very sore pygmy.

And young? Why thank you ... lately I've been told I am old. That made me smile.
