It's going to be the best Thanksgiving ever!
I have so many ideas... Mmmmmm...
I will post the final menu when I am finished planning.. I would definitely have been a chef, if it wasn't for my allergies, and, you know, civilization crumbling and whatnot.
Cooking is definitely a creative activity for me.. Yup.

Is it silly to get this excited about food? I don't care!
While we're on the topic, the other night I made a really yummy soup:
Cook 1 1/2 big leeks (about 2 cups) in some olive oil 'til caramelized, add 2 pounds parsnips, hard cores removed and cut up in 1-inch chunks, add water just to cover. Add salt and pepper. Simmer until soft. Pass it through a food mill, or food processor if you don't have one. Add 1/2-1 cup unpasturized apple juice (pasturized tastes completely different, and, well... awful, in my opinion), heat until warm, and then add 1/2 cup minced parsley. EAT.
Yum, it was really good. It might more aptly be called a puree than a soup.
More of Mr. Fluff's capers:
Also look at how cute my cubbyhubby looks playing the other night:
