i'm so glad i didn't grow up during the time of google earth and myspace and all these newfangled things. hah!

ALSO: i've been thinking of starting a nature observation or naturalists group here. what do you think? separate components are already covered in different groups (insects, birds, camping, etc. etc. and there's the gardener's and horticulturist group, but that's not really about wild/native plants obviously) but i just don't know. i think it'd be good.

what is weird, is that there is nothing to establish the sense of scale of the little guys. i thought they were cat-sized or something.
