I guess from time to time I'm a wiki-nerd :) For every 100 women in your area (which was a choice destination for hippies in the late 1960) there're 106.2 men :) For me, the greatest place to meet new people when I was new in town, was by taking my camera, going to shows, haning around there (even one or two hours before it starts) and also by going to some place for my daily coffee... Damned, you live a few thousand miles out of my area, otherwise I would be glad to come and chill around :p
