I had a site visit on Wednesday to a couple of buildings that are being torn down for a bunch of new construction. My task was to note where the power is coming into the buildings and where breaker panels are located. Everything winds up being in the basements, this wouldn't be so bad but old buildings here were built with basements that are 6 inches shorter than me.
I banged my head pretty good going through a doorway, I didn't think much of it but the guy that I was working with saw me do it and when we got back to the office brought it up to the project manager. Per the project protocol I had to go to the doctor to have it looked at.
I went to a Med Express to get it looked at. The look on the doctors face when I explained why I was there and waiting his time was priceless. I had a little bump on my head but by the time I was seen it was gone.
Gotta love safety requirements set up by lawyers.
