A woman that I work with was promoted to project manager. This is a really good thing, I've worked with her before and she can do the job. The time line for the project is 1 year. She and her husband decided to have a nm other child, so she is 3 months pregnant and plans to take 4 months off for post natal care.
Today during a project meeting all of this came out. She can't understand why the office manager is loosing his shit.
She went completely off the rails when she was told that one of the other project managers will be taking over for her. What do you expect to happen when you are not going to be available for the most important part of the project.
People amaze me, you make plans on top of other plans and when you guarantee that you can' fulfill the first plan you cry.
I' pissed because I was going to be working with someone who actually knows what they are doing and now we are stuck with a putz.
