An update for those who are interested...

While I was away at C3, KRQI FM (96.5 K-Rock) changed format to Jack-FM. The switch happened right after Andy's show on Friday, and left Big Ron, Jen the Phone Screener & I without a steady job.

Ron was able to secure a spot as a board op. He's going to work the 6am-12pm slot. I'm not sure what's going on with Jen yet, and I'm hoping for a job upstairs in productions.

Yesterday I went in and talked to Jim the Program Director. He asked me what I'd like to do and I told him that I'd love to go work upstairs with Jeff in Imaging & Productions. He said he'd see what he could do & that I was to come see him later in the week. I'll be stopping in tomorrow.

Hopefully all is not lost. I've got to be moved out of the apartment by Saturday, but I've been procrastinating. All I want to do is sit here. Tonight I'll start packing. I promise.

Tomorrow, I'll throw away everything that isn't vital. I need to be lean for this move, and that means no more 400 volume magazine collections that I'll never EVER read.

Keep your fingers crossed for me.
