Places I must go to eat, drink, and generally just be merry, upon returning to Chicago:
Hopleaf - Mussels and quality brews galore! A place I loved to splurge on, when I used to have money.
Skylark - My old waterin' hole when I lived in Bridgeport. Sigh. BEST tater tots, and two dollar PBRs.
Giordano's - Chicago pizza. 'Nuff said.
Shiroi Hana - Only the BEST waiter ever works here, Yoshi. Did I mention they have the best Udon and Alaska rolls?
Argo Tea - I worked here after all, I know exactly what I'm getting: earl grey blueberry soy latte. Color me hilarious.
Moody's - Can I just say... awesome burgers? Kuma's, yes. But Moody's! The... mood, hah, of the place. So Germanic and inviting and warm! Hearths galore!
And of course, I may drunk stumble into Maxwell's and Mr. Greek's.
Am I way too excited? I think I'm way too excited. Ohh, and I'm also way broke. Where do I think I'm gonna get any money to feast from these fine places? Hah!
