i don't really celebrate valentine's day...not in the way its intended, anyway. i think of it more of a holiday to appreciate friends and family- like when i was a kid, and i gave valentines to my friends- than a holiday for lovers. i think it's a better holiday that way. thinking of it as just a holiday for lovers is kind of cruel. my parents sent me a valentine's day card, and wrote, 'happy ST. valentine's day' on the inside. to them it's a catholic holiday- the feast of st. valentine.
i do love seeing pink and red everywhere during the season. that's why i chose the 'valentine's day' colors for my livejournal.

i'm hungry. sylvain cooked up some steak, and saved some for me. i'm gonna go make a steak ceasar salad. yummmm.

Yesterday my valentine found some free samples of foot lotiony stuff from when I went to bath and body and he wanted them opened so I showed him how they worked and at first he hated it but then he kept making me do it more more more. Then we got had a little water fight and he ran into the kitchen and slid across the floor on his newly slicked up feet. it was super rad! (well, because he wasn't hurt).
Right now he is watching Blondie videos. hehe
