OMG, I'm speechless!!! Never before anyplace else on-line have I gotten such a response to anything I've posted! Thank you!
I've got a ton of messages to answer and blogs to visit but I also have some long-overdue chores to tend to so I am sad to say they'll have to wait until later today (or early tomorrow).
The black-out was fun. It's funny how even when you know it's going to happen, your heart still skips a beat and your brain goes "WTF!" when it actually goes out. And then the people outside were acting like it was total chaos. C'mon, people, it's just electricity. (Says the girl who's addicted to the Internet.) It's like the electricity goes out and it gives them permission to be loud jerks for the rest of the night.
The best part was this morning when the power kicked back on an hour early. OH! Gotta get on that Internet! I plugged everything back in, checked my e-mail, checked here and then. . . the power went back off. So I sat around for another two hours hoping I hadn't fried my new computer. (NOPE! PHEW! Good little surge-protecting power strip. . .)
Anyway, yesterday we did run out to take advantage of that sale at Sears. Damned, if 1,000 watts of light aren't hot as the blazes of the sun!! I played around with my makeup the hour before our scheduled outtage and my hubby got to play around with the bright lights and the camera settings.
Wouldn't you know it, two decent pictures turned out. . . a small thank you for all my wonderful friends here. Thank you and lots and LOTS of love!!!!
(No more overly yellow lighting! Just me being. . . blinded.)

You look absolutely stunning in the pictures! As far as the lights being super hot. I painted a bedroom once at night white and I couldn't see what the hell I was doing. I had two of those lights on me for like 2 hours and was sweating balls the entire time. Sorry for the gross image but damn they got hot! Keep up the good work on the pictures I know you are gonna make it!

Gorgeous pictures. The new lighting may be hot, but the result is too.
