Today I had a conversation with someone at work about how great Mystery Science Theater 3000 is/was. It's rare anymore to find someone who actually liked that show. Surprising, since not but 4 years ago when I first found out about it, EVERYONE knew about it and loved it. Where did all those people go? I want those people back!
On a side note, and you're not allowed to laugh at this, but I have a song from the movie Teen Witch stuck in my head.
"So top that, a-stop that. I don't really give a *unh* about tryin to top that! So top that."
It's embarassing enough to admit that I liked that movie, but now I'm singing songs from it? Someone please run me over already.
enough embarasment for one entry... now I eat.

oh well.
SOMEONE left the ps2 on so the vcr just taped a blue screen, dammit!
yeah, i'm lucky i even get the channel, but it was really just a coincidence. the real driving force behind getting the dish (no pun intended) was the speed channel -
my husband is a big car/motorcycle guy and can't live w/out F1, world rally, and world superbike. and the sci fi channel just came along for the ride.
since you don't get good tv for some real belly laughs - i'm talking laughing out loud by yourself, maybe even shedding a few tears of mirth - you should read Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris -
funniest fucking thing i've ever read
a close second is A Supposedly Fun Thing I'll Never Do Again by David Foster Wallace.
have a good weekend
