I have finally gotten some productive work done on my own unique piece of writing. It's really hard to put together a bunch of stories told from the perspective of the substance you are on at that particular moment, and when looking at all these existential moments in time in the past it makes me see that sobriety could be the craziest state of mind their is. Jesus I have had some crazy fun time on crazy good stuff, but my time spent sober has usually been during horrific times in time, such as Katrina. I don't care how much acid you have eaten you will not get the sight, smell, feel, and sense of someone dying until its right in front of you and their blood is pouring out so much your boots cant retain the overflow on the ground, you're much more likely to just think about it and think it is happening. But when it is really happening talk about sensory overload.
On the other hand you ladies have given me a new point of view on how I should get a tattoo, I always wanted something that said I was a first responder to Hurricane Katrina. Now I see there is a better way and its to do it through art, not just a banner that says it, a much more artistic view of what happened down there. So, The Plan as of now is to put about 1500 in a really good artist and get a full color tattoo that will start on each shoulder and wrap around my collar bone and around my back. On one shoulder will be an Evil Hurricane with a real eye, kinda Alex Grey, with a red galaxy for the pupil and some crazy lighting as the eyebrow with a five pointed star in there somewhere almost hidden. On the other shoulder I will get a Holy Hurricane that is made with white clouds instead of the others dark and grey clouds, and the eye of this storm will have a blue galaxy as its pupil with a winged cross as its eyebrow. Both hurricanes tales will meet in the center of my collar bone where there will be an image of earth, except all the continents will form a Fleur de les and underneath it will say "HUMANITIAS" which is Latin for humanity. The tale of the hurricanes will also meet in the center of my back and form an infinite symbol. This whole idea is to show the underlying fight for good and evil in the world underneath our physical being which was really brought to the front of my mind while I was down there. Any critics or artist please tell me what ya think.

Have you found anyone who knows what you're idea is?
I think it's great how you're incorporating what you've personally gone through with Katrina and every day battles of humanity into one piece.
Really stoked to see how this turns out!!!
