My cousin Nick pulled into town this week. He's probably the most interesting and nifty of my cousins. He's the lefty vegan one, but I love him anyways .

He convinced me that I should join him up at our family's sacred land this Thursday and Friday... he's bringing up about a dozen friends from school, mostly women, so it promises to be a fun couple of days. Work was easy -- I get paid by the hour and it's amazing how all-purpose useful the 'family obligation' excuse is.

I should tell him about this place...
