Today was a good day. It was a long day, and a hard one, but a good one.
First, I got the job!!! It pays a ridiculous amount more than what I was getting paid at my last gig for a much smaller share of my brain. It's a short term contract, but I intend to be back in school in June, so it's all good.
Second, I went and worked with the newest member of my rocket group on some peroxide gear. Over seven hours, with him doing most of the work. He knows how to TIG weld and I barely know which end of a torch to hold and which to light. He is awesome and he gave me some cool ideas on other things I have been kicking about.
Life is good.

Heh... I wish. The job is over in Mountain View. However, I have a commitment from them to let me work from home once I get up and running.
