Honestly, I would just say fuck it and try to make light of the situation and go to the party. He is clearly an ass for mentioning it in an evite invitation (not tactful at all). You should be the better person and go. If you are at all concerned that you will get pissed or upset and can't make light of the situation, then I would skip the party. No point in going if you aren't gonna have fun.
