Monday... Monday always seems to bring about new problems, challenges and delemas, today was no exception. I had a report that was due on the first that got handed back to me and I was told to rewrite it so it wasn't so formal and cold.
Its the military, and I know we have become a bit kinder and gentler but come on! Its a medical report on who is and who is not fit for deployment and who is due for immunizations, physicals etc. I just about lost it, as it is I turned it in on the due date and I was just getting it back today on the 6th!
To top that off our electronic files are supposed to be uploaded to a master data base twice a month. The 1st and the 15th would make perfect sense to most people, and thats exactly the problem I have run into, the system isn't taking uploads on the 1st, 2nd or even the 6th. I was told that the problems we were having last month had been resolved and that the problem is on my end, the tech guys on my end insist that the problem is on their end leaving me in the middle grasping for straws
I just kept telling myself that I just had to make it 33 more days and then I'm off to Canada for the rest of December and they can figure out what the problem is with out the middle man. I have more important things to do then play phone tag, email tag and be hassled by people, I'm getting married in 40 days and they can fuck off! Right now whitewidow and my wedding is a lot more important then who's fault things aren't working the way they think that they should. Ah, what do I care I'm out of here in May and if I can string things along till then and keep them happily arguing amongst themselves as to who is at fault for the SNAFU then I'm golden.

Isn't it nice, when you're coming to the end of a term and know you're moving on, that you can put the screw up's in perspective and not make them rule your life?
Congrats on fullfilling your dream to become a pirate! How sweet that must feel now. Can you get a regulation parrot to put on your shoulder? Or even fly a pirate flag? Aaaarrrrrrgh!
