That's right it's my time for my weekly trip down to 29 Palms (or stumps as we call it).

That's right like any good government agency there is plenty of this to go around, I must have visited the same places several times for the same reason. There's some new policy that has been put into place that will extend the normal couple of hours I spend down there by at least an hour or more. The important thing is that everything that we needed to get I was able to aquire in one way or another. Some people might call it stealing but I know better, its Tasking Held Essentials For Transport, or T.H.E.F.T. for short. 
Ok so its really more like stratigic reallocation of resources but it all works out the same in the end, we got what we needed. 
Today I left at 5 AM so that I would hopefully get back at a decent hour, but I was wrong. Today was bitch at HM2 day. I had to listen to at least 5 people's bullshit whoa is me stories, so now it's time for me to share mine with you. Just kidding I did however spend about 30 minutes with a guy that insisted that I was educated on the various properties of different screws and fasteners 
I was a bit upset since it ate up a lot of my time and I didn't get back till about 5, but that was better then I thought that it would have been since I had to take a couple of the Search and Rescue guys down to get some certifications taken care of. I expected their class to go till about 5 today and then we would have a 3 - 4 hour drive back. So I guess in the grand scheme of things I scored a little bit, and now it's the weekend for me.
I've got a few small things to take care of but over all it's looking like a pretty good weekend, I may even get to stop by either my mom or my dad's house on Sunday too.
It must suck having to drive half way around the state without being able to stop for very long, but I guess that's the military. Take care ya big lug.
