why is it that sometimes work actually seems like a vacation after your vacation? i just had ten days off and i'm exhausted... man, being a dopey tourist is hard work.
i got a little paper fortune at this temple in kyoto a few days ago and it said my fortune was "excellent." that made me feel a lot better.
i kinda wanna go home. every time i have some time off i realize how much i don't want to go back to that job. or maybe i don't want to work at all... in which case i must come up with an ingenious way to be independently wealthy.
the cherry blossoms are starting to bloom and i'm about the happiest girl in the world. i'm not exactly a tree hugger, but i swear that nature produces some of the most amazing things. i'm gonna get a sweet tattoo next month of some cherry blossoms, but i need to find an artist here in japan! you'd think that'd be easy but people don't really do the whole tattoo thing here...
i wish someone would make me pancakes right now. preferably the cute boy sleeping in my bed in the other room, but momma's would be good, too.

Sounds like you had too much fun on your time off. It's all good though. I did go to one of those temples and paid 100 yen to see my fortune. Amazingly it was BAD!!

Ah dude tokyo tower rocks! I loved the view. I totally freaked out about the window in the floor. Mad fun though. That and the Emperor's palace, too bad it's sealed off from the rest of the world. I'd love to get some pics of that! Well hopefully I'll be able to take another trip up there sometime soon. We'll definately have to hook up!
