Maybe it's time for a new blog
I am in the process of being hired on full-time at the school... I know the classroom I'm assigned to and the name of my lead teacher (though I don't actually know her, since she was just hired on), but I haven't signed anything or turned in my transcript yet so there's a chance it could fall through, albeit a pretty small one.
I just got back from visiting my family in NY. It was fun, but I missed Brad like crazy and realized (part of) why I was so excited to move out.
Life with Brad is amazing, of course, and the girl we've been seeing is all kinds of incredible.
Life is good
Update... 5 hours after I posted this, some jackass tried to break into the apartment. Cops were called, lock was changed, nothing was stolen and I'm okay, but... ugh.

Defense work is fairly misunderstood and misportrayed in popular culture. It's less about finding "loopholes" and getting the guilty "off" and more about making sure the State can meet it's burden and if so, minimizing the damages.
