I really really love both my jobs. Working with kids is the best thing I've ever done, and my coworkers are amazing at both jobs. I don't think there's a better feeling than when I was in a classroom with a child who had already been (in my humble opinion mis-) labeled at age 3 as difficult and a behavior issue, who listened to me, was able to tell his classmates that he needed time alone (signaling that he knew he was about to have an angry outburst), then hug me and teach me the rest of the words to the "peanut butter and jelly song" (not the one you're thinking of that Brian did in a banana suit on family guy... this one starts "first you take the peanuts and you smash em, you smash em...").
...the fact that the teachers I've been working with tell me I'm doing really well for this being my first teaching job helps quite a bit too
