The more I think about the topic for my English paper, the more worried I get that it will suck. I think it's an interesting topic, and it'll be good compared to some of my classmate's papers (that sounds super conceited, but we had to post a few of our sources on the class discussion board, and people were citing Wikipedia and WebMD.), but I hate writing long papers, and this only has to be 6-8 pages.
I should probably mention that my topic is contracts in marriage, ranging from secular stuff like prenups to religious ones. I'm also planning on discussing how these are used as an argument against gay marriage (the idea I've seen so far is that marriage was created for reproduction, so since gay people can't procreate on their own, according to the government, it's essentially pointless)
Another bit I'm considering is discussing why some people prefer cohabitation to marriage, but I'm not sure what kind of sources I could get for that.
