Amazing spring breeze is blowing through the windows and starts the unthawing of this winter hibernation. The change of seasons calling me like a Led Zeppelin song as I mentally roll down another road heading for open skies, lost love, and memories in the making...
Went to Atlantic City this week with a friend for a few days. He has an obsession with the poker tables so I went with him to see how he works it. Saw him loose 1,600 dollars in one hand then turn around and win it back only to lose most of it again. It's all about the allure and this dance with chance.
People wonder through the casnio, empty eyed and seduced by psedo-luxury, bright lights, and buffets. Atlantic City's a strange and interesting place with its billion dollar hotels mingling with boarded up and abandoned buildings. A few winners and a whole lot of losers getting drunk on free drinks while being watched by hidden cameras. I had a good time taking it all in, but I want to go back sometime in the summer when the boardwalk is packed, and the rides are rolling with italian accented screams and laughter echos in the night...
