Hmmm.....it is sometimes hard to know exactly why people do what they do.

My mom and dad are still more than sociable since their divorce. And my dad's gf always invites her ex husband over for the holidays cause he has no where to go.

I just call all of that being an adult and also a good person. Both of which you are!

Just me and my son. It was very nice watching Alien and Predator movies all day and then fattening up. I am content

My first night of derby, I had to pull over on the way to the space to have the nervous scoots and then when I got there I put my helmet on backwards and had to ask for help with the other pads....it was awful hahahah

Best homemade costume I've seen (and this was in Louisiana, so you can steal it): woman made herself a gold dress (out of that cheap shiny material you can buy in any fabric store or walmart), put gold spray in her hair, gold make-up/glitter on her skin, gold shoes, tied a gold chain around her waist as a belt (she bought some with small links at a hardware store), painted a kid's plastic shovel gold which hung from her belt...voila! she was a "gold digger."

Someone else went as a "one night stand" by wearing a large cardboard box that had been cut and painted to resemble a night stand. He had a hole in the top for his head and holes in the sides for his arms, and he wore a little lamp shade as a hat.
