Okay, the weekend drinking/writing was fun... going to have to try that more often...
Taking Monday off to wait for the FedEx man to bring my new computer monitor...sadly, the new computer itself won't be here for about a month.
While I'm waiting, I'll have the chance to do some more recording...been literally banging on toy Mexican guitars (in strange tunings of my own devising) all weekend and want to get some of it down. Now that I've come to the end of a 3 year relationship, I think it's a perfect time to make a hell of a lot of noise...
Lisa returns from St. Louis this week, which will be great. We already have a lot of drinking planned, and a lot of discussion of all the work we want to do. Now that we both have plenty of free time, we'll have a chance to do all the projects we've talked about for 2 years now...What can I say, it's perfect timing that we are both coming out of relationships at the same time...My hopes are high that good things will come from it...

In the meantime I'm developing an obsessive/compulsive disorder waiting for the G5...

Update 08/09: My grandmother died this morning, so I might not be around much for a few days...Still trying to figure out if I can get down to Alabama for the services..
