I won a lawsuit today and immediately collected the settlement from the defendant. Yet, I'm still frustrated and don't have a feeling of satisfaction that I'd expect -- partially due to the fact that I'm dead tired today, having spent several hours yesterday and last night brushing up on some little-used sections of California law.

I just so happens that I left work early last night - due to a damn allergic reaction to our blackening seasoning I took the time to walk my dog to the beach! While there I saw the biggest fucking rat I have ever seen in my life!! I thought it was a ground hog at first. Kind of makes me uneasy that such a creature resides only blocks from me 
I actually stood there yelling "Holy shit look, that is the biggest fucking rat in the world!" The guy pumping gas at the 7-11 found me amusing. That is until he saw it too. I'm guessing he thought I was one of those girlie girls who screams at a mouse.
In any case, I shall begin to "smell the roses" on a more regular basis. I have had a really really shitty past couple of years and I need to make up for it.
Well damn damn damn, I was counting on your being a millionaire so that you could back me on my B&B.
I really did find a plantaion house about an hour from here last year. It would have been a total money pit. Didn't even have electricity. But Oh God it was spectacular, looking at it and seeing what it once was and could be again.
Well I need to go face the oh so shitty traffic around here, have some nuisance errends to run. If I don't get back to you today, have a good one.
