Why must it be?
Men treat what they love with such cruliety? Yet that of what hold only
momentary intrest is held in glory?
Of all great men what did their wifes and daughters quitly suffer. Great
things came from such hornored men. But did they hold those whom they
love with honor?
How many hearts must suffer for someones profligate ways? How many
burises must we quietly carry?

darke:
I think the question is why do you accept that? If I was cruel to my wife, she'd put an icepick in my ear whilst I slept, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
feyd:
Plenty of women treat their men with disdain, but they mask it with the idea of 'pride' and 'justification' and sometimes a good man gets worn down. Men don't corner the market on that sort of thing.
