Ok, so I guess it's update time again, Im crap at keeping this journal up-to-date, cant think what it is that keeps distracting me on SG?!
Im still in canada at the moment, the skiing is going really well and Ill be in race training till the end of march, then Im going up to Canmore for a month to just free ski and chill out, hopefully some heli-skiing too, should be good fun.
Ive just found out about a paragliding competition near Vancouver in the first week of may that is going to have a disabled fliers cateogory. Itll be the first disabled fliers competition in the world so Im gonna postpone heading back to the UK until ive been there and made a fool of myself!
There are only about 7 other disabled guys that Im aware of in the world that are paragliding, it should be interesting to see what crazy crontraptions they use to take-off and land, plus itll raise awerness so some other dudes can realise that they can jump off the top of mountains too, wheelchair or not!
Im seriously thinking about heading down to The Vegas for a weekend towards the end of april too, check me out, international playboy!
I figure that I wont really get the chance too often and everyone has to go to Vegas at least once right?! Plus I REALLY wanna get a sleeve done, but want to make sure its by a great artist, so Im trying like mad to decide what I want, everything at the moment, arrggh!
Im also trying to plan my world tour to South Africa, Oz and New Zealand, Im getting far too excited about it all and ill let you know why Im going down there in a later post.
I realise i need to put some pictures up too, this has been a wierd one since my accident, do i put a pic of me in a wheelchair or not? I struggle with how to depict myslef, i love my pics from before i had my accident and was still in the army but feel as if im lying about myself if i put them up. On the other hand, the pics of me in a wheelchair are cool too but a type of denial has stopped me from posting them before, I guess Ill just have to get a grip and put them up!
