It's Friday morning, and I've got the day off.
Last night I had one of those really stupid dreams. In this one, I was in Las Vegas for some reason, and there was an SG themed casino there. The whole thing looked like the Moulin Rouge crossed with a NY wharfside warehouse, and it was filled with dealers and cocktail waitresses dressed like stereotypical SG types.
Outside the casino was an enormous neon version of the main site graphic - the two pony tails moved independently , and blinked on and off as they went up and down.
All in all, I'm left thinking that would be pretty fucking cool.
This weekend, I think MourningGlory and I are going to go to Devil's Point, because it seems once again our friends won't be finding the time to actually get together with us. I'm not 100% sure we'll be going yet, but it seems pretty definite. Anybody in the area is welcome to join us.

What's a "Mary Sue"? I've seen this term pop up a couple of times now, and the context just isn't giving me enough to figure out the meaning.
Woah.
I've gotta say, I have actually had the amazing good luck to never encounter a Mary Sue in my roleplaying career. Well, apart from one shortlived GM's talking ferret. He didn't really last long in our campaign.
"Little Ellen dies of the croup because her mother has neglected to get her shoe repaired" sounds like a pretty good end for one, though.
