One of the best ways to get a feel for a new board is to watch other new posters start threads, and to see the reactions of long time posters to those threads. So that's what I've been doing - for the most part, the folks on SG seem pretty laid back, and there are a lot of posters here with nicely laid back senses of humor. But they're quick on the draw with the funny slams.
In that sense, it's like the forum I admin. Full of funny people, but God help you out if you act like a tool - especially if you aren't quick with the comebacks, and if you can't figure out when you're being a tool and take a step back.
On that note, I always laugh when I see people who don't know when to quit. If I poke a hornet's nest with a stick, and get a few stings, I'm not gonna stick my dick in the hole to "Show 'em who's boss." But hey, If you wanna do that, your kink is okay by me.
I wonder how many people actually read these journals, anyway?

When I first scrolled down to say hi, I saw all purple and was thinking, "wow, everyone who talks to this guy is one of my friends!" LOL
P.S. If you think people on SG are "laid-back," then I will assume you have been steering clear of the current events boards.
