I've been traveling a lot the past few weeks. During that time I've had time to think deeply about the important issues in life. Lately I've been thinking about getting a tattoo or two.
Why do people get tattoos and piercings. Does it truly define who they are? I've seen so many people get tattoos for a variety of reasons...
We've all seen the guy or girl that runs down to the closest place near their home with the big neon "Tattoo" sign to get that latest, hippest barb-wire bicep ink work.
On the flip side I've seen some intricate, beautiful work that makes me wonder where the inspiration came from.
I'm fascinated by tattoos and the reasons behind them.
So my question is to all that stumble across here...do you feel your exterior defines who you are as a person? I am assuming that for the truly enlightened that it doesn't. So then why do you do it?
