Well three months into the deployment. Everything seems to be settling into a routine. Guys here go to gaurd, conduct patrols, and work out. The days seem to blur together. Its hard to remember when things happened and to figure out what day of the week it is. Chow has also seemed to fall into a routine. Everday we have fish. It started off being a joke when saying there would be fish for dinner, but now its become the truth. I used to like fish but you can only have it so many days in a row. The only thing that seems to break the monotony of the days is the random shipment of mail or bombardment of enemy mortars. Days are getting cooler and the nights are even colder. Winter is coming and with it, hopefully, an end to the fighting season. Kinda sad that I'm missing the premiers to some of my favorite shows, SOA in particular. But despite the routine things seem to be going well (knock on wood). We have a warm place to sleep at night and something other than MREs to eat for chow, always have to look at the positive things.

Keep on keeping on. Hopefully you guys will be getting some sweet care packages here for the holidays, that seems to be the only time American's remember y'all are still out there.
