I just joined the health & fitness group and saw your posting in the March Challenge. I just wanted to say that I'm ULTRA proud of you for mustering up the motivation to do something about your weight. I have a friend who is severly overweight and won't EVER take the necessary steps towards getting into better shape. In fact, she's trying to get permanent disability status from the government. Anyhow, congratulations on your 8kg! I know it seems like you have a long way to go but as long as you're losing, even if it's only 1kg, you should be proud of yourself! WAY TO GO YOU!!!!!
Got my hair cut short and had my beard shaved. I no longer look like the lovechild of Grizzly Adams and 'Ben'. I feel free.

I think for a guy your size, and having to lose as much as you do, you can expect a good amount of weight to come off in the beginning.
I have no idea how much....but if 10lbs a month is awesome for a moderately overweight person.....maybe 20lbs/month? Just a guess....plus it depends on what/how you do it.
