heh
"and not the good stuff like robert johnson, but the cheesy kind often played by glitzy white dudes. "
that made me laugh. there is an aspen based station back home like that. it seems to me like most places get to be like that after a while. i have a serious case of wanderlust, so staying put has always been a bit of a challenge for me, and i can definitely relate to stuff like that getting on your nerves.
if it makes you feel any better the southern california bros and bro-hos make me feel all stabby, i actually couldn;t stand the culture here for the longest time, but somehow recently managed to find my niche. i still get bored and annoyed with the monotony though, which i guess you can find everywhere.
i miss that glowing green you mentioned in oregon, i also remember spending some nights out and about on various hallucinogens watching the fog roll in through those giant old gnarled trees over the green, and thinking "this can't possibly be real". the only place i've ever seen that might be greener is ireland, and if so it's only a little greener
lucky and good vibe
