Ok two more weeks then I'm headin south, I have to take three training courses and then its "Seacrest Ooout!". I'm both nervous and excited, I still don't know where I'll be going, could be New Orleans, could be some cushy little shelter, a bit anxious too.
Got awesome news at work today, the president of the bank came into my branch and said that he wanted to speak to me, after I cleaned the fresh shit out of my draws, we chatted. He said that there was a board meeting a couple of weeks ago and there were comments made about my drawings, the fate of which had recently been alterred. In my branch my station is near the door as you come in, next to a big barren wall, so I had done some drawings and hung them, I got alot of positive feed back and some commissions from them. Drawings that technically should not have been hung in the first place, so I was nervous as to where the conversation was headed. Recently the bank made some good copies of historic photos depicting our town and had them framed at a cost of about three hundred each. I asked what was said about my pics, beginning to sweat as I said it. He told me that a couple of the board members said that they liked my pictures better and wanted them back up, GULP, I didn't know if he was going to be pissed or what? I got quiet so he stareted in, "We want to commission you to draw our new Shrewsbury branch" he paused "We're also going to take down these pictures and put a few of yours up." I almos shit again, these were fifteen hundred bucks worth of pictures that were bought like a month prior, and the BOORD MEMBERS told him that they wanted mine, ouch. So I'm going to do it, and make some serious lira, and get some exposure, so now I'm excited, no, I'm ecstatic.
I should probably have my car on the road this week, so all you fiiiine bitches watch out, I'm on the prowl.
To recap, helping refugees, drawing for money, humpin and porkin and doint it and lovin it.....any thoughts?
