I just balled my eyes out, I know this is going to sound stupid, but I went to PBS' web site and was looking through their various pages. When I saw the Mr Rogers Neighborhood page I began looking it over. It was kinda funny to see all the educational videos and fun facts about him. All the puppets were there, the fish, his sweaters, his shoes and enough else to bring a flood of memories. As I was searching through the site I saw a timeline of his life, with videos and pictures along the way, culminating in a tribute to his life and efforts to bring a bit of calm joy to the world. He seemed like such a kind man and a warm soul. I balled, he represents such peace and integrity and to think that this world is no longer his home, made me cry. I only hope that I get to share the joys of his program when eventually I have children, that would be my way of thanking him.
It's such a good feeling, a very good feeling.

see i read this, and fondly reflect on Mr. Rodgers and your tender sensitivity and I almost forget what you have done to my heart and my life. Maybe I can come be with you and the spider? Maybe you both will have me, and I am not begging, i don't beg, this is not a plea, but please don't take all that love away from me
