due to her immense back pain at the end of our trip to mexico, we went to a doctor in LA on the 27th for infected kidneys. after coming home and still being in pain, we went to the UCSB medical center on the 3rd, and they promptly referred us to a local ER. she had six cysts removed by laparoscopic surgery a few days ago, and is currently receiving post-operative care at cottage hospital. it looks like she'll be coming home sometime next week, and after a few days of bed rest she should be back to her amazing self. if there is anything you would like to tell her, you can leave me a comment or email me through the site and i'll pass it along to her in the morning. i know she would love to hear from you all.
